Illuminations with ITAL – Wednesday November 7th

Rockfeedback’s special week-long series of curated events and shows – Illuminations arrives at The Waiting Room next week with Ital performing live.
Heading a new wave of dance producers, Brooklyn based Daniel Martin-McCormick aka Ital chops and skews classic house/techno through a liberating and unique sound world. Dance floors across Europe have been smitten by his tactile live set, from underground basements to festival main stages as his sound/performance is a RUSH. Ital will be joined by visual artist Aurora Halal (Innergaze/100% SILK), who will take dance floors deeper with her synched up cosmic projections and hall of mirrors VHS feeds.

Walls present Ecstatic with The Field DJ set – Friday 2nd November

Kompakt Records’ WALLS present the final instalment of their three month residency at The Waiting Room with a DJ set from The Field playing a very special influences orientated DJ set which promisesto go deep into his collection of space rock and germanic weirdness. As well as Fort Romeau and Sam Willis. Following the success of Walls parties in September and October with DFA’s Gavin Russom and Junior Boys, this is not one to miss.

Treetop Flyers – Thursday 13th December

We’re delighted to announce that London’s Treetop Flyers will be playing The Lock Tavern on the 13th December. The band have earned themselves a great reputation for live performances and their rootsy, folk-tinged rock earned them the winning spot at this year’s Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition.
Oxjam – Saturday 20th October

Oxjam presents an all day show this Saturday kicking off from 2pm till 10pm. Nine bands will be performing live including ‘seductive rock’n’roll band’ The Dandies, gypsy jazz sensations The Din, Death By Sexy, Tricks Of The Gods, Horsefight, Dirty Nelly, Cowbell, Plastic People and Madcap Stranger. Entry is £8 and all proceeds go to Oxfam.
Oxjam will then be be followed by outrageous indie and electro night Fannypack.
Juno’s 3rd Birthday with Ron Morelli (L.I.E.S) and Will Bankhead – Friday 12th October

This Friday, Junoplus will be cheers-ing their glasses to three years in the editorial game with an intimate party in London this October, featuring DJ sets from Ron Morelli of New York’s L.I.E.S records and Will Bankhead.
