Another exploratory session of garage, house and all their mutations from London’s Special Request crew – this time warming hearts with a Valentines Special, and their first show of the year at new venue The Waiting Room
Following the ramjam affair that was Special Request IV with DJ Champion, we return with two of modern grime’s finest; Butterz Records founders Elijah & Skilliam playing an exclusive back-to-back R&B and grime ballads special. With an ever-advancing pool of talent and a number of underground smashes to their name (Think S-X’s ‘Woo Riddim’ or Swindle’s own ‘Mood Swings’), you can expect pure fiyah from the label heads as they provide a one off set for Valentine’s lovers.

Bleep 43 with Mick Wills – Saturday 16th February

Bleep 43 will be kicking off a bi-monthly residency at The Waiting Room by welcoming Germany’s Mick Wills. A committed digger, DJ and producer, Mick tours Europe’s record fairs in pursuit of obscure vinyl – the result being an esoteric purveyor of house, techno, electro and disco. His productions have graced labels such as Nation, International Deejay Gigolos and MinimalRome.

Prang takes over the Waiting Room on Friday packing an artillery of trill, grime, electronica & boogie hits. On the decks is Queenie, Blackfoot Phoenix and a mystery special guest. Entry is free before 11pm and only £5 after. The party goes on until 4am!
Ulrich Shnauss – Friday 1st February + Saturday 2nd February

January 2013 will see German born electronic artist Ulrich Schnauss release his long-awaited new album, ‘A Long Way To Fall’. Six years since has last solo album his new long player focuses on more punchier rhythms but still retains the individual sound Ulrich Schnauss crafted with his landmark album, ’A Strangely Isolated Place’.
To celebrate the release of the new album Inverted Audio and Electronic Explorations present two official ‘A Long Way To Fall’ album launch parties at The Waiting Room in London.
