The Waiting Room is excited to bring 19 year old singer / producer Jamie Isaac to the stage on Wednesday 26th February. Blending subdued electronic sounds with delicate vocals, his music is hauntingly poignant. His new video for ‘She Dried’ has just been released.

Jamie Isaac has premiered the video for his new single ‘She Dried’, a gorgeous, lush black and white piece directed by Phoebe Armstein and Stephen Ledger-Lomas inspired by the photography of Irving Penn that perfectly fits the tense atmosphere of the track. Taken from ‘Blue Break’ EP, his much-anticipated second release, it feels very much like a natural next evolutionary step for the 19-year-old artist who creates vast sonic landscapes strafed with moments of transcendent beauty and hypnotic pull. He effortlessly and seamlessly absorbs influences as diverse as Steve Reich and J Dilla, while also reflecting tales of the urban environs of Croydon, where he was born and raised.

Volkova Sisters, emerge from the Hungarian underground DIY music scene, to tell their folktronic tales. Adopting their moniker from the main characters in Pattern Recognition, written by – Father of the cyberpunk science fiction genre – William Gibson. Volkova Sisters; formed in 2009 by songwriting duo Daniel Sandor (synth) and Dalma Berger (vocals), first bonded after establishing a shared love of dark, melancholic 80’s new- wave music.

Their intentions were to create music reminiscent of the shimmering distortions of My Bloody Valentine combined with dreamy landscapes of the Cocteau Twins. European cold-wave, with a sharper emphasis on industrial pop. Final member Gergely Kovacs (guitar) joined shortly after the bands conception, in late 2009.

In early 2012, they have released their new EP, HOPE along with some of their emblematic style videos. Nowadays they are working on their first album, titled Blood Shapes This Faith In Us.
