This Friday, July 31st, the heavy bass night known as TONGA returns to The Waiting Room for their eighth and final night! It will run from 10pm till 4am and is co-hosted by Mike Skinner (of The Streets, of course) and Manchester art collective Murkage. It’s your last chance to share in this unforgettable night! Kicking things off this week, we have Anderson East – a brand new artist from Athens, Alabama. Having just released his debut album ‘Delilah’ this very month on Elektra Records, a North American tour has seen him stop for a TV spot on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’. We are thus excited to present his UK debut here at the Waiting Room on Tuesday, July 21st at 8pm. Entry is free via an e-ticket which you should grab here.
Next up on Wednesday, July 22nd at 7:30pm we have newcomer Kelly Lee Owens, who will also be making her debut London headline show with us. Originally hailing from North Wales, the songstress released her debut EP ‘Lucid/Arthur’ early this year to critical acclaim. The work sees her dabble in both dark, clubby tracks and in electronic power ballads – all spearheaded by her exquisite voice. I Need A Rhythm – Saturday July 18th

Next week Saturday July 18 sees the return of I Need A Rhythm to the Waiting Room. Expect them to pump up the jam for a night of chart topping early 90s Acid House, Rave and Classic House anthems.
