2015 has seen Hampshire based wunderkinds BLAENAVON finish school, sign to Transgressive Records, record a new EP and confirm some very exciting plans for the recording of their eagerly awaited debut album. Having played shows with the likes of Warpaint, Districts, The Orwells & Songhoy Blues – the boys seem to be making all the right sorts of friends at an impressively young age. Made up of Ben Gregory (Vox / Guitar) Harris McMillan (Perc) & Frank Wright (Bass) they released their debut single ‘Into The Night’ and subsequent EP ‘KOSO’ to great critical acclaim while they finished their studies. Now the wise beyond their years 3-piece are back with huge ambition and some mind blowing new music – it appears as if the Liphook based lads are finally ready to show the world what they’ve got in store.

Tonight’s headline show from electronic duo Wyles & Simpson has now sold out! We advise all you lucky folks who did bag a ticket to get down early. It’s going to be big!

Thursday sees Etches celebrate the launch of their debut EP ‘Wall of Sleep’ out on Fierce Panda Records. The band have recently premiered leading track ‘Do Nothing’ on XFM and their Liverpool launch has sold out. Tickets available here and physical copies of the EP will be on sale on the night.
We’ve got a new monthly night kicking off this Friday, bought to you by DEEP FIX. Expect Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Industrial Music, New-Wave and Synth-Disco. Visuals and lights will also provided for maximum electronic pulses. 11pm – 4am, £5 entry.
We bring a great week to a close with Orphan supplying the vibes on Saturday night with a specially selected line up of DJs playing you all the best cuts of techno, house and grime! Get down before midnight or buy your tickets in advance here for a cheaper £3 entry.

Pink Moon is back at the Waiting Room with another free entry party! This time it’s alternative act Post Louis launching their new single, ’30m Pool.’ The indie pop outfit, hard at work on their first album, will be supported by shoegaze act Avant Black for this very special night. Viral Nights DJ until late, with doors at 8pm!

It’s Digital Tsunami’s always-eclectic selection at The Waiting Room this weekend– three DJs join Digital Tsunami founders Ernestas Sadau & Roman Sputnik: acclaimed Finnish techno legend Mono Junk, founder of Dum Records, takes the headline slot, joined by Chicago Flotation Device (CFD/Lobster Theramin/Resin) and Morah (Return to Disorder).
