Just one man, his drums and a sampler, NAH is garage rock infused hip-hop project you never knew you needed.

Since 2011, Philadelphia native Michael Kuhn has masterminded the project. Known for using cassettes as his only physical copies, the wooing hip-hop samples, dirty basslines and slamming lo-fi drums of new cut Noonewanna are only available on his January cassette.

He thrashes live shows so hard, fans are almost always left crawling over his kit. So spectacular you have to see it for yourself, do not miss this date in June.

Presented by KANADA.

Weird Dreams live at The Waiting Room

Posted February 15, 2016

Weird Dreams

For four years, we heard nothing from Weird Dreams. Then, at the beginning of this month, to the surprise of us all, they reappeared with one song, “The Ladder.” It’s an understated comeback –with its soft drone, twinkling piano, and Doran Edwards’ nostalgic vocals, it’s easy to under how it was inspired by the “the reflections of water on a swimming pool ceiling at night.”

We’ll have to wait a little longer for another album, but the band has promised that there will be more music to come. They’re playing The Waiting Room on Monday 7 March, so at least we know they aren’t going to dissapear for another couple of years anytime soon.
